Chinatown Partnership was organized to bring residents, business owners and community groups together in order to rebuild the Chinatown of lower NYC following 9/11, and to insure the neighborhood’s vitality for the future. Through a broad range of programs, it engages this community in efforts to improve the neighborhood’s physical environment through street cleaning, streetscape improvements and enhanced lighting. Attracting public and private investments and advocating for government services, its ultimate goal is to ensure the survival of this dynamic and diverse Chinese neighborhood.
